Forest Lakes Elementary School

Forest Lakes is a community-centered school, which opened in September 1997.  The air-conditioned, 2-story school was built to house 588 students. Self-contained classrooms cluster around commons areas. The school has a 30-station computer lab; media center; full size gym with stage area connected to the music rooms; a multi-purpose parks and recreation room; cafeteria; offices; and classrooms on the upper and lower level.

Special note: We desperately need extra hands to assist our kindergarten students with opening packages and milk cartons and handing out straws, napkins, and utensils in the cafeteria. Their time is from 10:45-11:30.
There is currently no on on the floor to assist students and only one food service worker to wash and dismiss tables from 10:45 - 11:55. We strongly encourage grandparents (as many parents are already volunteering a lot and/or working) to consider this opportunity to come out and help!
